The audio of Gemini Film Circuit’s Kutty was launched at a simple ceremony at the Gemini Labs . Present on the occasion were director Mithran Jawahar, Devi Sri Prasad and cameraman Balasubramanian amongst others.
The remake of Arya from Telugu, the film is ready for a Pongal release. Speaking about the music Devi Sriprasad said, “Selvaraghavan has written the lyrics for one song called ‘one sided love’ and its come out really well. The other songs are by Viveka and Thamarai has written one song. I have changed most of the songs from the Telugu version.
After Villu and Kandasamy which were huge hits for me this year, I am expecting the Kutty music to also appeal to the youth. This is my first film with Jawahar and Dhanush and I am very happy with the way the album has come out.
”The Viveka- Devi Sriprasad combo seems to be rocking with this album as the two have worked together several times before and are in great synch. “He gave us so many options overnight! He is a very prolific writer” says Jawahar who is happy and optimistic about his film.
