Karthi has agreed to pay Rs 77,000 towards the feeding cost of the tiger for six months.
Karthi, a wildlife lover, has made several trips to the many forests in India. He is also on a mission to "save tigers in the wild".
" I have made several trips to the forests, but I've never spotted a tiger. Now seeing a white tiger in front of you is a majestic sight," said Karthi. "I am happy that I can help in the conservation of the tiger, which is like conserving the forest itself."
Karthi visited the zoo with his niece Diya and a bunch of kids from the family.
