Shankar ready to make '3 Idiots' with Mahesh babu... Not with Vijay

Director Shankar may begin the shooting of the Telugu version of 3 Idiots in December as he had already obtained the call sheet of Mahesh Babu. The Tamil version will begin sometime later as Vijay’s dates are mixed up with his other projects.



Jiiva is set to play one of the roles in Tamil. There is a talk that Siddharth and Arya are in the race for yet another important role. Shankar may rope in either of them as both enjoy immense popularity in Kollywood and Tollywood.

So, for now, the Tamil version still looks bleak with nothing finalized.

Telugu actor 'Mahesh Babu' At Univercell

Prince Mahesh Babu will be the Brand Ambassador of Univercell.Mahesh Babu at Taj Krishna yesterday. The winners were selected through a lucky draw. Suma anchored the programme and the actor said this commercial was his favourite. He surprised a winner named Swetha by wishing her on her birthday, and her joy knew no bounds. UniverCell founder Satish Babu, VP Ramesh Barath, COO Rajgopal and Brand Manager Balaji were present. The contest was launched on Diwali last year to provide an opportunity to the customers to interact with Mahesh Babu.

Rs 80 Cr Pawan Kalyan And Mahesh Babu

One man has put in nothing less than Rs 80 crores on both power star Pawan Kalyan and prince Mahesh Babu and right now, he is biting his nails in tension. Apparently, Ramesh happens to be the producer of ‘Komaram Puli’ with Pawan and the Mahesh Babu movie tentatively titled ‘Khiladi’. It is heard that each movie has been made at a whopping budget of Rs 40 crores and so the producer is skeptical on whether the investment can be got back or not.

This is going to be romantic action entertainer and is major part of the movie is shot in North India. For the first time in my career, I am going to shoot it with Super 35 mm format. Technically it would be in high standards.” He also thanked producers Ram, Gopi and Anil Sunkara for backing him for two projects continuously.
