Neetu Chandra smokes 28 cigarettes

Bollywood babe Neetu Chandra is now in Pattaya beach Thailand, shooting Ameer‘s film 'Aadhi Bhagavan'. As this is her career deciding film in Kollywood, Neetu was more than willing to give her best.



But her enthusiasm tested her hard. In one of the scenes Neetu Chandra had to smoke cigarettes which became an issue. Neetu being a non-smoker wasn’t willing to enact the scene. She did not even know how to hold a cigarette in between the fingers. But she learnt it for the sake of professionalism.

Director Ameer taught her how to hold a cigarette in different ways, and more ways to stylishly smoke. Before the scene was Okayed Neetu had finished burning 28 cigarettes.

But we didn’t know if she finally learnt to smoke.

Sex Bomb Neetu Chandra links with match-fixing scandal

Neetu Chandra has denied having any links with Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Asif, who's caught in the latest match-fixing controversy that has hit the cricket world.

Her alleged involvement in the match-fixing came out when Interpol and Scotland Yard handed over the mobile details of Asif to the Pakistan Cricket Board for investigation.

The document was prepared by Scotland Yard and Interpol on the basis of Pakistani actress Veena Malik's information and it contains details of calls Asif made in 2009. But it has been leaked.

Reports stated that in the document, the only mobile phone number from Mumbai belonged to actress Neetu Chandra and that she could be involved in the match-fixing scandal.

It was further reported, according to the document, that the actress had made two phone calls and exchanged text messages with the controversial cricketer, discussing sensitive cricket issues and deals.

"Personally, Neetu does not know Mohammad Asif or any Pakistani cricketer for that matter. Her name is being dragged into the match-fixing controversy with baseless allegations," Neetu's publicist Dale Bhagwagar said.

"Neetu didn't even know what Asif looked like. Within minutes of this controversy breaking out, I met her and showed her his picture from the internet on my BlackBerry," Dale added.

"Neetu glanced at it and almost jumped from her chair, joking, 'Oh, he's too dark'. She also doesn't know or understand how her cell number has featured on such a scandalous list. If it indeed has, it could well be a conspiracy."

Neetu Chandra has featured in films like 'Godavari' and 'Satyameva Jayathe' in Tollywood, '13B' and 'Apartment' in Bollywood, 'Yaavarum Nalam' and 'Theeraatha Vilaiyaattu Pillai' in Kollywood.

Neetu Chandra paired with Ajith in Mangatha

Thala Ajith will team up with Venkat Prabhu for his much awaited 50th film, which is produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri of Cloud Nine Productions. This Venkat Prabhu-Ajith multi-starrer is tentatively titled Mangatha.



Venkat Prabhu is currently holding talks with a Tollywood superstar (rumoured to be Nagarjuna) for playing another lead role. Yuvanshankar Raja will score the music while Sakthi Saravanan is expected to handle the camera. If all goes well, the project will go on floors in the first week of August. Earlier there were reports that the sensational Anushka will be Ajith's heroine in Mangatha but now it is learns that Neetu Chandra is likely to play the female lead.
