Vijay TV proudly presents the grand audio launch of the Kamal Haasan starrer “Manmadhan Ambu” in Singapore
Manamadhan Ambu, a romantic comedy starring Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is a much awaited film in the industy. The film directed by KS Ravikumar and produced by Red Giant Movies Udayanidhi Stalin also stars Madhavan, Trisha and Sangeetha in lead roles. This is the first production of Red Giant Movies with Kamal Haasan & is expected to release by the end of this year.
Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has written the story, screenplay and dialogues of the movie while the entire film has been shot across Europe in Rome, Venice, Paris and Barcelona; major part of the film has been shot on board the grand “Mediterranean Cruise”.

The music for this romantic comedy has been scored by none other than the effervescent music director Devi Sri Prasad. The movie has six songs; of which which two have been sung by Kamal Haasan himself. The foot tapping music is all set to hit the stands; the audio release of the film has been planned at Singapore on November 20, 2010 organized by the popular television channel Vijay TV.
The entire cast & crew of the film including Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Madhavan, Sangeetha, Director K.S. Ravikumar, Music Director Devi Sri Prasad, cinematographer Manush Nandan, Editor Shaan Mohammad would participate in the audio release function at Singapore.
The celebration of its music starts from Kuala Lumpur as the entire team board the Superstar Virgo on November 18, 2010 followed by a grand pre-event celebration on November 19 with special acts by Brazilian dancers and Chinese acrobats witnessed by a special 300 invitees along with the Manmadhan Ambu team.
On November 20, the audio release function would be set at Singapore Expo, Max Pavillion before a 7000 audience as a 3 hour extravaganza. Singapore audiences are in for a treat as the event would feature Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan do a special performance along with music director Devi Sri Prasad and the others stars Madhavan, Trisha and Sangeetha.
Kamal Haasan while speaking at the event said “Actors and actresses involved in a film should undergo proper rehearsals before they start shooting. If we take rehearsals seriously before shoots, we can reduce needless expenses in film-making and sharpen acting skills. I thank all my co-stars including Trisha, Madhavan and Sangeetha for agreeing to do proper rehearsals.”
Elaborating more about the movie, Kamal said “Ravikumar and I share common ideas and it was evident in all our earlier outings (Panchathantram, Avvai Shanmugi, etc). This film will be a lighthearted romantic-comedy and hopefully would entertain fans”.
Director Ravi Kumar said “It is my privilege to work with Kamal again and am also grateful to Udhayanidhi (Stalin) for bringing us together. Most of the movie would be shot abroad, in countries like Italy, Spain and Greece. We should be shooting in a star cruiser.”
Producer Udyanidhi Stalin said “It was my long-time dream to work with Kamal and it has come true with ‘Manmadhan Ambu’. Plans are on to release the film for Deepavali.”
The rest of the people who were on the stage expressed their respect for Kamal and said that they are sure on the success of the film.
Trisha has started work on her new film with Kamal Hassan. The untitled film produced by Udayanidhi Stalin is directed by KS Ravikumar. It also has Madhavan and Sangeetha in the cast with music by Devi Sri Prasad.
On Tuesday afternoon Trisha was at DSP’s studio along with Kamal Hassan and a bunch of kids to record “a poetic piece” for the film. It was not a song but a catchy poetic line which would appear in the background.
The buzz is that Trisha herself is likely to dub for the film, for which shooting is to start in Monte Carlo in June. The film is to be shot on a Mediterranean cruiser, and promises to be “the most important film” in Trisha’s career.
