Manmadhan Ambu: Grand opening on December 23

Producer Udhayanidhi Stalin is releasing his upcoming film ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ in more prints. Releasing on December 23, the booking plans have already opened in many theatres with more special shows. Since it will be a long weekend holiday for Christmas and New Year, more special shows will be screened.



Maayajal is planning for the multi-screens shows of around 50-60 shows (minimum) per day while AGS Royal Cinemas has screening times of even at 1 a.m.

The film will be released in simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu titled as ‘Manmadha Banam’.

Adhirshtasali - Maddy's next movie in Tamil

After Yaavarum Nalam, Madhavan once again is joining with Vikram Kumar in the film title Adhirshtasali produced by Cloud Nine Movies.



This is the first film for Madhavan and Vikram Kumar working for Cloud Nine. It is also important note that Madhavan is also acting the film Vettai directed by Lingusamy under the banner Cloud Nine. Adhirshtasali is a comical film which has lot of twists.

The director Vikram Kumar has mentioned about the film that Adhirshtasali is different from film Yaavarum Nalam .He also mentioned about the cast and crew of this film is being finalized.

The shooting of film Adhirshtasali will commence only after the shooting of Vettai in which Madhavan is in lead role has been completed. Adhirshtasali is being made in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi languages. Madhavan says that he is quite happy to work with Vikram once again.

Vijay, Maddy and Simbu in 3 Idiots?

Some time back it was announced confirmly that ace director Shankar will be taking this remake project and making it in both Tamil and Telugu and it is going to be Shankar’s first remake project in his career. Soon after the release of his latest forthcoming flick ‘Endhiran’ starring Rajinikanth this remake project is likely to commence.



Now we have some interesting news before you. It’s regarding the cast and crew of this project. Ilayathalapathy Vijay has been confirmed for the role of Aamir Khan played in original. Then Madhavan has been chosen to do the same role again in this remake also what he did in original. On the other hand, some buzz is also going on that Maddy is not interested to act for the same role in the remake again. And for the third hero role it is Simbu confirmed. Initially, Jeeva was thought of doing the third lead but now Simbu was confirmed by Shankar.

On the other hand, Mahesh Babu will be replacing Vijay in Telugu version and Maddy and Simbu will be retained in Telugu version also for the same roles.

Sources say that Shankar is this time is looking for Yuvan Shankar Raja as he has to leave A R Rahman who will be busy on his ‘Jai Ho’ World Tour all this year.

Tamanna and Simbu in Lingusamy Film

Lingusamy film is a bi-lingual in Tamil and Telugu. Buzz is that Tamanna has been asked to give 25 days successively for the film by Lingusamy. Tamanna plays a law college student and she has also been asked to lose some weight and get fit for the role. Lingusamy's associates say Simbu-Tamanna pair will be as much talked about as Simbu-Trisha jodi in ‘VTV’.



Tamannah also has an author backed role which has more emotions than dialogues they say. She will have just two pages of words to be spoken in the entire films and you will see a new Tamanna they add.

For the important role of Tamanna's brother in the film Lingusamy tried Madhavan and is still waiting for his answer. While waiting for Madhavan, Lingusamy also has a stand by in Ajmal, just in case.

Jeeva does a Maddy role in 3 idiots

Jeeva will be an extremely pleased man with the offers he’s been receiving. News circulating in Kodambakkam says that Jeeva has accepted a role in the Tamil remake of Hindi blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’.



Digging more on it we found out that the role offered to Jeeva will be that of Madhavan’s role in the original. Without a second thought, Jeeva has said to have accepted the role.

It’s already the steaming news in Kollywood that Vijay will don the role of Amir Khan. So there’s only one idiot left, oops we mean only one main character left besides the heroine. The media’s ears and eyes are wide opened to know who!

Other members of the cast and crew are being decided by the producers. The Tamil version is being made by reputed south Indian film production company, Gemini Film Circuit. Now that Vijay and Jeeva are part of the project, the movie’s expectations are only increasing even before going on floors.

Aamir Khan at '3 Idiots' Press Meet

Well, well, well! Look who is finally reappearing on the surface of the earth! Aamir Khan has been busy promoting his new movie "3 Idiots" lately and his "hide and seek" strategy has taken him all over India. The idea is to send out the actor to a specific city where people are supposed to look for him with the help of certain clues. If no one can find him, he moves on to a new city and a new disguise!

But yesterday Aamir finally showed up for the movie's press meet at Mumbai's Taj Land's End and our photogs were there to take in all the action! The actor looked relaxed and causal, wearing a pair of jeans and a pink t-shirt.

Madhavan hurts his knee for 3 Idiots

Raj Kumar Hirani’s ‘3 Idiots’ starring Aamir Khan, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi sees the actors playing IIT students much younger than their real ages. Taking a cue from Aamir Khan –Madhavan played badminton as a sport to keep fit.

Reveals a source, “For their role as students the actors needed to look like students. But while playing badminton one day Madhavan injured his knee and had to wear a knee protection bandage.”

“Luckily director Raj Kumar Hirani was accommodating enough and went out of his way to especially write Madhavan’s role in such a manner that his character had to wear a knee protection bandage in the film,” adds the source.

Madhavan had previously injured his knee while playing with ace badminton player Prakash Padukone.

Aamir Khan promotes '3 idiots' in Delhi

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan was in the national capital on Wednesday to promote his upcoming film '3 idiots', which is about three engineering students and their experiences on the campus. The film is a celluloid adaptation of author Chetan Bhagat's best selling fiction 'Five Point Someone'.

Addressing the media on the plot of the film, Aamir Khan said, "The film discusses plethora of issues its not only for the engineering students where the film is set. The subject of the film is relevant to those students or the parents who want their kids to be successful after studying. It addresses various questions like what do we understand by success."

Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi, who essays the role of Alok in the film, said that he related to the characters, which were essayed by Aamir, R. Madhavan and him.

"What I would like to believe is that there are certain qualities which the character portrays. I am trying to have hold over them, so at certain level I do relate to the characters of the film," Joshi said.

The film produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and directed by Raj Kumar Hirani is slated for a Christmas release
