Nayantara planning to quit films after Sri Rama Rajyam

2010 was favourable to Nayantara as an actress, though it put immense pressure her as an individual, thanks to her relationship with Prabhu Deva!

With the back-to-back success of her almost all films in 2010, everybody thought that she would regain her No. 1 position in the South in 2011, but things are apparently not working out like that!

Sources close to the actress reveal that she has stopped giving dates and is planning to quit films after completing her ongoing Telugu project Sri Rama Rajyam, a mythological film in which she plays Sita.

The buzz is that Prabhu Deva had asked her to quit films after Sri Rama Rajyam, since they are getting married by the year end. A website also quoted the actress as saying: “Prabhu Deva told me not to act in films post marriage. Having thought it through and discussed it with well wishers, I am absolutely confident it is the right decision for me.” So Sri Rama Rajyam is most likely to be her swan song as an actress.

Prabhu Deva weds Nayan in July?

Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva, it is heard, are planning to get married in July this year. The wedding date is kept under wraps as Prabhu is waiting for his divorce with Ramlath and the final order on this will be available only in June.



According to sources, Prabhu Deva wanted to wed Nayan in Hyderabad but the actress is insisting on entering into wedlock in Chennai. Heeding to her request, the director is said to be making all arrangements for their July wedding in Chennai.

Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva’s relationship blossomed into love when he was directing her in Villu and this forced Prabhu to divorce his wife.

Prabhu Deva's wife Ramalatha attempted to suicide

Director Prabhu Deva's wife Ramalatha is said to have attempted to commit suicide on Thursday evening. According to sources, the reason behind her alleged attempt is said to be the psychic trauma caused by her husband's claim that his marriage with her is not legal as it was not registered!

Recently, Ramalatha had approached the Chennai Family Court to stop Prabhu Deva from marrying Nayantara. But Prabhu had claimed that his marriage with her was not legal as it was not registered. In a bid to prove him as her hubby, she was said to have gathered evidences like ration card and her children’s birth certificates and handed over the same to her lawyer.



But Prabhu Deva had reportedly consulted his legal experts and with some evidences, he had even planned to prove that Ramalatha's documents were fake. Ramalatha was said to be shocked by this news and tried to commit suicide by consuming an overdose of sleeping pills on Thursday evening.

Ramalatha was reportedly taken to the hospital and saved by her relatives. Sources claim that she had even written a death. She had held Nayantara responsible for her death in it. However, the police are said to have registered a case based on her suicide note.

Court issues summons to Nayantara and Prabhu Deva

The Principal Family Court in Chennai has directed Prabhu Deva and Nayantara to appear on October 23 in connection with a petition filed by the former's wife Ramalath alias Latha, seeking to stay their proposed marriage in December.



According to Anandan, counsel for Ramalath, the Family Court Judge admitted the family dispute petition filed by Ramalath and directed Prabhu Deva and Nayantara to appear before the court and give their version on the proposed marriage today.

Since the two did not turn up, she filed a fresh petition stating that a summon be sent to Prabhu Deva. Since Nayantara does not have a permanent address, she made an attempt to send the notice through South Indian Film Artistes Association which they refused to accept. Following this the court issued the orders.

"My husband Prabhu Deva is not giving money for family expenses. Nayanthara is making my husband not to meet me and my family. Make my husband to live with me. The news that spreaded that Prabhu Deva gave me Rs 2 crore and 85 lakhs worth jewels is also false."

says Ramlath in the complaint.

Post announcement of Prabhu Deva's marriage with Nayanthara, rumors are aired that the former had settled the issue with his existing wife Ramlath by concurring to pay Rs. 3 crores along with the house they live currently. Denying the rumors, Ramlath brought the matter to the family court pleading a decree that Prabhu Deva shouldn't be departed with her. The couple is in wrangle due to Prabhu Deva's love affair with Nayanthara. As Prabhu Deva announced his love affair with Nayanthara and marriage in future the cited rumor was aired stating that Prabhu Deva is free of obstacles to wed Nayanthara. Ramlath filed a petition in the family court pleading that she doesn't require money but she wants her husband to stay with her.

Prabhu Deva and Nayantara Marriage confirmed

Prabhu Deva has finally cleared the buzz on air about his affair with Nayantara. After being in the news for about two years, choreographer-actor has declared that they will be getting married soon.



Prabhu Deva says that Nayantara has transformed his life completely. The choreographer also adds that they have been showering unconditional love upon each other. When asked about Nayantara quitting films post-marriage, he said, “It’s up to Nayantara to decide. She loves being at home spending more time with family.”


Recently, it was Prakash Raj, who entered into nuptials with Bollywood choreographer Pony Verma. In all likelihood, Prabhu Deva will soon divorce his first wife Latha with whom he had three sons – Vishal, Rishi and Aditya. His eldest son Vishal passed away due to cancer in 2008.

Nayantara posters creates a problem in Kerala

Nayanthara and Ajith had starred in Aegan, which was directed by Raju Sundaram. This film was released in the year 2008. When this film hit the screens in Kerala, posters of Nayanthara in vulgar poses were displayed in several prominent places. This has irked the sentiments of several people and one Mr. Nagaraj has filed a petition in the Criminal Court seeking action against Nayan, Raju Sundaram, the theatre owner Sridharan and the producer.

The case was closed recently due to lack of evidence. Following this, Nagaraj has filed a fresh petition seeking a re-investigation. The court has ordered the police to re-investigate and submit a report soon.

Boss Engira Bhaskaran review | Boss Engira Bhaskaran story

Boss Engira Bhaskaran movie is another directorial venture of M.Rajesh who has given smash hit “Siva Manasula Sakthi” earlier. He has authored the script of present Tamil rom-com flick “Boss Engira Bhaskaran”. It is the product of K S Sreenivasan’s Vasan Visual Ventures. It is the fine presentation of comedy woven in real life situations. The twist of fate has been the major factor in the movie. The chief USP of the movie is Arya who is putting it differently after portraying serious roles in his previous movies.



“Boss Engira Bhaskaran” is centered on Bhaskaran (Arya) who has been projected as happy-go-lucky kind guy. He handles his life carelessly and is not attentive at any point of life. He decides hastily without contemplating over the consequences. He appears for his English exam for which he has been trying for last five years. This time he dares to come prepared with material to copy in the examination hall. He happens to meet Chandrika (Nayanthara) with whom he interacts eventually and shares his secret of copying. Unfortunately, Chandrika turns out to be invigilator coincidentally and she gets hold of all of his material. Resultantly, he walks out of the examination hall without attempting the paper.

Now the spotlight shifts to Bhaskaran’s brother Saravanan, a veterinary doctor who is dating Nandhini, daughter of bank employee Shanmukha Sundaram. Both of them want to tie knot with the consent of their parents. Bhaskaran goes to see his would be sister-in-law along with his parents. Here comes main twist in his life when he meets Chandrika once again and this time as Nandhini’s youger sister. He was already attracted towards her. And now he becomes happy to find it effortless to win over Chandrika’s heart.

Bhaskaran made it possible and purposes Chandrika but she leaves the decision on her family. On much insistence, Nandhini promises to fix their alliance but only after he gets suitable work for living. Bhaskaran who is good for nothing persists for his wedding but family does not agree in the light of his jobless status. Ultimately Bhaskaran took it as challenge and leaves the home. He promises to come back within six months with plenty of money so that he could marry Chandrika. Whether Bhaskaran and Chandrika would get together or not rests in te climax of the movie.

“Boss Engira Bhaskaran” gives you full blown comedy. Arya has wonderfully played the character of reckless man. The movie exemplifies that Arya is capable enough to portray variety roles. His experiment with out and out comedy film will certainly fetch him accolades. His transformation from irresponsible attitude to liable one is worth watching. His timings to strike humor have been accurate and his performance is being complimented by his friend played by Santhanam who takes you through realistic situations.



Nayanthara has given pleasant performance though her acting skills are not being explored properly. Jeeva has appeared in cameo that comes like a surprise package of the movie. Paanch Subbu also does it part very good. Editing by Vivek Harshan and filming by Sakthi Saravanan has been awesome. M.Rajesh has told simple story in excellent way. Music by Yuvanshankar Raja is already connecting people to it very closely.

All in all “Boss Engira Bhaskaran” is packed with comedy.
