'Rana' is different from 'Hara' - KS Ravikumar reveiled

Director K.S. Ravikumar, the director with the Midas’ Touch, has come out clarifying that his proposed film ‘Rana’ which is to star superstar Rajnikanth in triple roles is neither the modified version of the animation film ‘Hara’ of the superstar nor its continuation.



A formal announcement was made recently, by Gemini Film Circuit, the producers of Rajni’s upcoming film ‘Rana’, that the film would star superstar Rajni in triple roles and would have Anoushka Shetty and Bollywood’s Deepika Padukone as the leading ladies opposite Rajnikanth.

This led the superstar’s fans and the public into believing that ‘Hara’, started by superstar’s daughter Soundarya prior to her marriage, would be taken over by Ravikumar with his characteristic touch and would be converted into a full-fledged feature film.

“Rana would be an out-and-out Rajni Sir film and would be enjoyed as usual by all sections of fans. There won’t be any animation part in it. In fact, the script would have a ‘historical’ backdrop to it. All I can assure at this level to the fans and the public is that the film would be matching international films in its content, standard and quality,” said Ravikumar.

Rajini with Shankar after 'Rana'

There is some more action on the Super Star front. Just a few days after his 'Rana' was announced we have started hearing about his next film.

According to our sources, Rajini will join hands with Shankar again after completing ‘Rana’. Interestingly the current projects of the actor and the director are starting almost at the same time. If Shankar has just begun his 3-Idiots 'Nanban', the super star film would start rolling from March.

The Rajini-Shankar combination film will be produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin and the official announcement is expected soon after the state assembly election gets over in May.

Meanwhile the Bollywood sensation Deepika Padukone is keeping her diary free for ‘Rana’. She is even said to have opted out of a film with Akshay Kumar to accommodate 'Rana' it comes to her finally.

Rajini praises Mysskin and Cheran

A special show of Yudham Sei was organized for Rajinikanth and the Superstar was thrilled at the outcome. He heaped lavish praises on the film’s director Mysskin, and actors Cheran and YGee Mahendran for playing their roles to perfection. For the first time in his career Cheran plays a CBI officer and is being appreciated for his performance by all those who have seen the film thus far.



Yudham Sei is a crime thriller with Cheran and Dipa Shah playing the lead roles. The film is directed by Mysskin and produced by Kalpathi Agoram.

Sharukh Khan's Ra.1 to beat Rajnikanth's ROBO

Sharukh Khan is coming with new movie titled 'Ra.1'. The movie is made with a whooping 150 crores budget. This movie is about the first Indian Super Hero. As per the inside sources , the movie is graphical extravanza and is all set to beat Rajnikanth's Robo.

He dined over the rocks and had a nice time with his friends Venkat and Hari. Rajinikanth reportedly spent most of the time doing meditation. Rajini's Sultan is now HARA

'Sultan- The Warrior', a long awaited film starring Superstar Rajinikanth and directed by his second daughter Soundarya, has undergone a title change now.



If sources are to be believed, the movie will be henceforth known as 'Hara', which is one of the names of Lord Shiva. And a few important portions of it will be shot by K S Ravikumar, the lucky mascot of Rajinikanth.

"While Soundarya will take care of the animation part, Ravikumar will wield the megaphone for some crucial scenes in which fans would get to see the real Rajini in action. Hara will be a real treat for the audience", sources say.

Now that 'Endhiran' has become a worldwide super hit, plans are on to complete 'Hara' quickly and release it globally. Interestingly, this is not the first time for the top star to act in a film that has Lord Shiva's name as the title. The earlier ones were 'Annamalai' and 'Arunachalam' and both were blockbusters in the 1990s.

Enthiran in English and also few scenes made in 3D

Yeah we know, Chitty, the Robo can speak any language but what is news is ‘Robot’ will be dubbed in English!




Not just being dubbed in English, Robo’s Indian versions – Tamil, Hindi,Telugu along with the new English version will have added 3D Video footage! After being the talk of the mouth in almost every part of the world, the producers Sun Pictures, are contemplating to cashing on the rage by dubbing the movie in English and also include 7 Minutes of 3D footage that was originally not included in the movie.

There were gossips that ‘Robot’ would have a few scenes made in 3D but camera man Rathnavel informed before the release of the movie that the 3D version wasn’t really a viable option as it was time consuming as well as a burden to few theatre owners because they would have to install 3D screens.

Rajini missed his grandson's birthday event

Dhanush and Aishwarya celebrated the birthday of their son Yathra on October 10 in style. It happened at a tar hotel in Nandanam, Chennai. Dhanush had requested the guest to be in green attire and they all obliged.



While they all painted the venue green and had a great fun, one thing was grossly missed by all at the celebrations and that was the presence of Yathra's grand father Super Star Rajinikanth.

The super star was out of the city and he was on his trip to the Himalayas. Though he did not attend the function personally, Rajinikanth more than compensated it with his 30 minutes goody talk with his grandson. Son happy, parents also happy.

"Enthiran" (Robot), the costliest Bollywood sci-fi film creates large waves in Indian box offices with a record opening weekend collection. The film that features Indian film icons like Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Buchan has been received by roaring viewers in theaters across the country.

According to analysts, Enthiran, first complete sci-fi film in India, has amassed up 950 million rupees ($21 million) in its first weekend in theaters. This count is a record in the Bollywood film industry. The film was made of $35 million. Analysts hope that Enthiran will further collect $28 million through ticket sales in India.

"In the opening weekend, all the three versions of Robot have together collected 950 million rupees (21 million dollars), the highest-ever in India," a Bollywood trade analyst said.

Enthiran is taken by the iconic Indian director Shankar, well-known director of 'Sivaji'. It narrates the story of romance between a robot and a girl. A robot called Chitti, which was injected with human emotion and feeling hormones, begins to love its creator's girlfriend.

South Indian film giant Rajinikanth plays roles of the robot and its scientist creator. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, former Miss World champion appears in the role of his girlfriend. Fans of Rajinikanth and Aishwarya received Enthiran in Chennai and Mumbai with a worshipping mind.

In Chennai, home place of the 60-year-old Rajinikanth, his fans welcomed screening of Enthiran pouring milk over his large cutout poster in a theater. As well in Mumbai, Bollywood's hometown people received Enthiran with large growls and ecstasy.

Mumbai: When Rajnikanth starrer Endhiran was released in Tamil Nadu it was a huge hit. Just in a few days time hundreds and thousands of fans turned up at theatres to watch their superstar perform. In the initial weekend itself, Anjaana Anjaani has earned around Rs.260 million. On the other hand Robot that has Aishwarya Rai grossed Rs.70 million. But in the southern region, Endhiran that is also known as Robot has broken all records. Till now it has earned Rs.1 billion. And it is still going strong.
