Arya’s second hit film in 2010, the film is released on EID day with 240 screens. Surprisingly the film made the best ever opening on the first day with 95.5 percent theater occupancy. Endhiran blockbuster of the year and the highest grosser at the box office proved that Indian cinema is no where lesser than a Hollywood film. Sun pictures have produced with a budget of Rs160 crore and the film earned a gross revenue of Rs 400crore.
