Vishal and Sameera in Prabhu Deva's Direction

Vishal's film with Prabhu Deva seems to be in news every other day. It was just two days ago that we heard the film's shooting has commenced and now there is news that they were shooting at a gym in Chennai. Vishal is said to be the owner of the gym, he was seen enacting the role of the gym master and Sameera Reddy comes there to work out.



Sameera Reddy was seen exercising on the stationary gym cycle and Vishal was seen giving her instructions. Looks like the publicity is buzzing everyday and we are hoping for a speedy shoot and a great film. This film is being produced by Vishal's home banner GK Corporations and helmed by director Prabhu Deva.

Latest position of Movies in Chennai (Tamil Nadu)

Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Silambarasan-Trisha love story Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya has taken a bumper opening, collecting Rs 67 lakhs or 95 per cent from a dozen screens in Chennai city. The film has opened at the number one position and is being appreciated by the director’s core elite audiences, though some do not like its pace and climax.

At number two position is Tamil Padam, a runaway super hit. In third position is Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai, which is holding on in Chennai city.

At number four is Aasal, clearly struggling to keep itself afloat, and in fifth position is My Name Is Khan, which seems to be tapering off.

Vishal's 'Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai' Movie Gallery

'Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai' written and directed by newcomer Thiru, who earlier assisted directors Agathiyan and A. Rajasekhar. The film, produced by Vikram Krishna, stars his brother Vishal Krishna in lead role along with Neetu Chandra of Yavarum Nalam fame, Tanushree Dutta, former Miss India Universe debuting in Kollywood and Sarah-Jane Dias, former Miss India World making her acting debut, whilst Prakash Raj, Santhanam, Oorvasi and Mouli among others play supporting roles.

The film, scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and filmed by Arvind Krishna, is in its production stage and scheduled for a 2010 Pongal release on January 14. The film is being dubbed into Telugu as Khilladi and will be released simultaneously with the Tamil version.

Aayirathil Oruvan Vs Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai For Pongal Race

2010 is gonna be the most happening year for Tamil film buffs as the very opening will have biggies clashing at box office. Yes, trade analysts have confirmed couple of Pongal releases – Karthi's 'Aayirathil Oruvan' and Vishal’s ‘Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai’. Both the films have been much making high waves in town with accordance to its unique traits.

As well all know, Selvaraghavan’s ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ is based on fantasy, action-adventure where audiences and professionals in showbiz will have to witness something new-fangled with it. Starring Karthi, Andrea and Reema Sen in lead roles, Parthiban takes on the role of a king of ancient century. Producers of this film have planned to launch the trailer by first week of December.

On pars, Vishal’s ‘Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai’ may not be such a grandiloquent flick, but has something savoring flavors for youth cohorts. Just imagine the India’s happening hotties – Tanushree Dutta, Neethu Chandra and Miss India Sarah Jane striking on with their sensuously tremendous fiesta.

Vishal And Shobana At Helios Hospital Opening

Vishal join hands with Helios Hospitals to help uterus cancer patients!

Actor Vishal joined hands with Helios Hospital, one of the super specialty health care center located in the outskirts of Chennai, and announced his plans to help poor women who affect with dangerous uterus cancer.

Attending in the inaugural ceremony of the hospital along with ace film maker P Vasu, Sun Network’s Vice President (programming) Hansraj Saxena and Manimegalai Thangam Thennarasu, he remembered how the doctors of Helios hospital cured him from severe injuries.

“Whenever I got injured my driver takes me and rushed immediately to Helios Doctors. I got 25 such hevuy injuries in my body. All were healed by Helios doctors only..”, the actor says.

Further he added, “For women, uterus cancer is one of the worst, notorious decease in the world. Now I came to know that Helios Hospital is introduced a new treatment for this decease. According to the doctors, just 3 injections are enough to cure the decease for lifetime. But the treatment is a costly one and

not bearable for poor. So I decided to share the expense of this treatment for poor women who takes the treatment here…”.

For the first time in India, Nano Coating technology (complete sterilization) is introduced in Helios Hospital operation theaters to avoid infection to the patients during surgeries, the press release of the hospital says.

Earlier, Dr Manjula Devi, Managing Director and Dr Nandakumar, President of Helios have welcomed the chief guests to the event.
